  2. There is No Way that is accurate. The hottest temperature ever recorded in Florida is 109 degrees in Monticello. That site lists 109.9 degrees as hottest in Fort Myers. That is probably the Heat Index for Fort Myers not hottest temperature ever. The National Weather Service, as noted in the article, lists 103 degrees as record for Fort Myers. Your source is wrong and inaccurate.
