The hottest weather temperature ever officially recorded in Boca Raton, Florida is 102 degrees which occurred on June 24, 1944.

Boca Raton is certainly a warm weather city. Days when the temperature reaches 90 degrees or more have occurred in Boca Raton in every month of the year except for December. Days when the temperature reaches 100 degrees or more have only occurred in the city a handful of times since 1892.

The coldest weather temperature ever officially recorded in Boca Raton, Florida is 21 degrees which occurred on February 9, 1995. 

Below freezing weather temperature days are not common in Boca Raton and they only occur from December to early March in any given year if they occur at all. 

  • Coldest Temperature Ever Recorded in Florida is -2 Degrees

The coldest temperature ever recorded in the state of Florida is -2 degrees, which occurred on February 13, 1899, in Tallahassee which is located about 420 miles northwest of Boca Raton. On February 13, 1899, the Great Blizzard of 1899 struck the northeastern part of North America spreading record temperatures all the way down to Cuba and bringing the only below zero temperature reading ever recorded in Florida. 

The difference between the all-time coldest temperature ever recorded in Boca Raton (21) and the all-time coldest temperature in the state of Florida (-2) is 23 degrees. A big difference and a much larger difference than the hottest temperatures between the city and the state.

Overall, Boca Raton is a city with very moderate weather temperatures and this beautiful tourist area along the Atlantic Ocean and east coast of the Sunshine State has a much milder climate in temperature variations than the extremes found in the state of Florida and in almost all cities in the United States.
