Record Hottest and Coldest Weather Temperatures Ever Recorded in Green Bay, Wisconsin

Weather temperatures have been officially kept in Green Bay, Wisconsin since 1886. These are the all-time record hottest and coldest temperatures ever recorded in Green Bay since 1886.

Located at the southern end of Green Bay, a sub-inlet of Lake Michigan, where the Fox River empties into the bay in eastern Wisconsin, the city of Green Bay has a much milder climate than the extremes found in the Badger State. This is born out by the differences between the all-time hottest and coldest temperatures ever recorded in Green Bay, compared to the all-time hottest and coldest temperatures recorded in Wisconsin.
The difference between the all-time hottest and coldest temperatures ever recorded in Green Bay is 140 degrees. The difference between the all-time hottest and coldest temperatures ever recorded in the state of Wisconsin is 169 degrees; a difference of 29 degrees.

Days when the temperature reaches or exceeds 100 degrees are pretty rare in Green Bay, as the temperature has only soared above the century mark in the city about 15 times since 1886. Green Bay averages just six days a year when the temperature reaches 90 degrees or above.
Green Bay is best known as the home of the Green Bay Packers of the NFL. I believe the Green Bay area is the smallest metro area population in the United States to have a major professional sports team.
I've been to Green Bay a couple of times, but have never been to a Packers game at Lambeau Field. I have visited Lambeau Field, though, which every NFL fan should do if they travel to the Green Bay area.
As a bit of weather trivia some might find hard to believe, the record hottest temperature in Green Bay of 104 degrees is four degrees hotter than the all-time hottest temperature ever recorded in Miami, Florida. Green Bay is about 1,600 miles north of Miami.

Speaking of heat, the tourist city of Wisconsin Dells is a great summer vacation place filled with so many water parks the city claims to be the Waterpark Capital of the World.
I don't know if Wisconsin Dells has more water parks than anywhere else in the world, but it sure has a lot of fun attractions for tourists. That includes boat rides along the Wisconsin River to see the actual Wisconsin Dells, which are cool looking natural sandstone rock formations found along the river and the surrounding cliffs.
