All-time Record Hottest and Coldest Temperatures Ever Recorded in Miami, Florida

Temperature records have been officially kept in Miami, Florida since 1895. These are the all-time record hottest and coldest temperatures recorded in Miami since 1895.

Due to its location along the Atlantic Ocean in the southeastern part of Florida, Miami has a much more milder climate than does most of the rest of Florida. This is born out by the differences between the all-time hottest and coldest temperatures ever recorded in Miami, versus the all-time record hottest and coldest temperatures ever recorded in the state of Florida.
The difference between the all-time hottest and coldest temperatures in Miami is just 73 degrees. The difference between the all-time hottest and coldest temperatures in Florida is 111 degrees; a very big difference of 38 degrees.

Having visited Miami numerous times, especially in the summer, it often feels as if it is hotter than 100 degrees, but that is because of the very high humidity levels in the city.
In a little bit of an oddity, Miami has never had a day where 99 degrees was its hottest temperature of the day. There have been over 10 times when 98 degrees was the hottest temperature in Miami, with the most recent day being June 22, 2009.
