Here are the record hottest and coldest temperatures ever recorded in Laughlin, Nevada.

Located on the west bank of the Colorado River just south of Davis Dam and Lake Mojave and across the river from Bullhead City, Arizona some 90 miles south of Las Vegas in the extreme south of Nevada, the city of Laughlin has mild weather variations in temperatures and much milder temperature variations than the extremes found in the state of Nevada or in almost all cities in the United States.

Laughlin, which is the third most visited casino city in Nevada, is certainly a warm weather city. Days when the temperature reaches 100 degrees or more are fairly common in Laughlin and can occurred from March to October. The earliest 100 degree weather temperature date in Laughlin was on March 17, 2007, and the latest 100 degree day was on October 23, 2003.

All-Time Record Coldest Weather Temperature Ever Recorded in Laughlin is 22 Degrees

The coldest weather temperature ever officially recorded in Laughlin, Nevada is 22 degrees which occurred on December 22, 1990. 

Below freezing weather temperature days are not common in Laughlin and they only occur from late November to early February in any given year if they occur at all. The earliest below freezing date in Laughlin was on November 16, 2001 and the latest was on February 16, 1990.

  • Coldest Temperature Ever Recorded in Nevada is -50 Degrees

The coldest temperature ever recorded in the state of Nevada is -50 degrees, which occurred on January 8, 1937, in San Jacinto. Located in the extreme northeast corner of Nevada, San Jacinto is a small unincorporated community that is well over 500 miles north of Laughlin. 

The difference between the all-time coldest temperature ever recorded in Laughlin (22) and the all-time coldest temperature in the state of Nevada (-50) is 72 degrees. A huge difference.

Overall, Laughlin is a city that gets very hot most of the year and only gets cold at times in the winter. Laughlin holds the record for the hottest temperature in Nevada but has a much milder record coldest temperature compared to Nevada's record.
