Here are the ten coldest weather temperature days ever recorded in New York City history. The weather data is from Central Park in Manhattan, New York City, and dates back to 1869. All the dates on this list are below zero readings and 11 dates are actually listed due to ties.

The all-time coldest day in New York City history occurred on February 9, 1934 when the temperature was -15 degrees. The last time New York City experienced a below zero temperature day was on February 14, 2016, when it was -1 degrees. That's a pretty cold Valentine's Day but it's not cold enough to make the list of ten coldest days in New York City history.
