Below freezing weather temperature days are not common in Kissimme and they only occur from late November to early March in any given year if they occur at all. The earliest below freezing date in Kissimmee was on November 25, 1970 and the latest was on March 4, 1980.

The coldest temperature ever recorded in the state of Florida is -2 degrees, which occurred on February 13, 1899, in Tallahassee which is located about 250 miles northwest of Kissimmee. On February 13, 1899, the Great Blizzard of 1899 struck the northeastern part of North America spreading record temperatures all the way down to Cuba and bringing the only below zero temperature reading ever recorded in Florida. 

The difference between the all-time coldest temperature ever recorded in Kissimmee (19) and the all-time coldest temperature in the state of Florida (-2) is 21 degrees. A big difference and a much larger difference than the hottest temperatures between the city and the state.

Overall, Kissimmee is a city with very moderate weather temperatures and this Walt Disney World area has a much milder climate in temperature variations than the extremes found in the state of Florida and in almost all cities in the United States.
