Record Hottest and Coldest Weather Temperatures Ever Recorded in Pueblo, Colorado

Official weather records have been kept in the city of Pueblo, Colorado since 1888. Here are the record hottest and coldest temperatures ever recorded in Pueblo, Colorado since 1888.

Located in south-central Colorado in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains about 100 miles south of Denver, the city of Pueblo has wide weather variations in temperatures but much milder temperature variations than the extremes found in the state of Colorado. Days when the temperature reaches 90 degrees or more can occur in Pueblo from April through October. The earliest 90 degree weather day in Pueblo was on April 6, 1991, and the latest 90 degree day was on October 23, 2003.

The coldest weather temperature ever officially recorded in Pueblo, Colorado is -31 degrees which occurred on February 1, 1951. 

Below zero weather temperature days can occur in Pueblo from November to March. The earliest below zero date in Pueblo was on October 29, 1917, and the latest below zero day was on March 30, 1926.

The coldest temperature ever recorded in the state of Colorado is -61 degrees, which occurred on February 1, 1985, in Maybell. Located in northwestern Colorado about 20 miles east of Dinosaur National Monument, Maybell is 300 miles northwest of Pueblo. 

The difference between the all-time coldest temperature ever officially recorded in Pueblo (-31) and the all-time coldest temperature in the state of Colorado (-61) is 30 degrees. A big difference and a much larger difference than the hottest temperatures between the city and the state.

Overall, Pueblo is a city with wide variations in weather temperatures but this very sunny locale located 100 miles south of Denver has a much milder climate in temperature variations than the extremes found in the state of Colorado.
