Earliest 100 degree weather temperature day

  • 100 degrees on June 2, 2011

The earliest 100 degree weather temperature day in Houston was on June 2, 2011, when it was exactly 100 degrees. That seems late in the year for Houston to have a 100 degree day but the breezes off the Gulf of Mexico likely prevent 100 degree days earlier in the year.

It still gets hot in the city earlier in the year as Houston's first 90 degree weather temperature day was on February 20, 1986, when it was 91 degrees. And Houston has 80 degree weather temperature days in every month of the year.
