For all the people living in the Denver area and all the tourists thinking of visiting the city, here is a list of the hottest weather temperature records for each month of the year.
The list can be very useful for tourists visiting Denver at any time of the year. Also listed for each month are great places to visit in Denver during that time of the year.
In addition to the record hottest temperature and places to visit for each month, I'm also listing the date and year in which the record occurred. If you are not familiar with Denver you might be pretty surprised at some of the record hottest weather temperatures for each month.
The weather temperature records below date back to 1872. All the data is from the National Weather Service.
January—76 degrees
The record high temperature for January in Denver is 76 degrees which occurred on January 27, 1888. It's been 70 degrees or warmer in Denver in January about a dozen times since 1872.
Since the weather can sometimes be a little cold and unpredictable in January, a great place to visit in the city during the first month of the year is the Denver Art Museum located at 100 W 14th Ave Pkwy.
February—80 degrees
The record high temperature for February in Denver is 80 degrees which occurred on February 10, 2017. Seventy degree days are not all that uncommon in February in Denver.
February is another month with unpredictable weather in the city. February is a great month to visit the Denver Museum of Nature and Science located at 2001 Colorado Blvd.
March—84 degrees

The best place to visit in the city in March is the architecturally impressive Colorado State Capitol building located at 200 E Colfax Avenue in Denver. Tours are daily from 10 am to 3 pm and are free but can get busy so call for a reservation.
April—90 degrees
The record high temperature for April in Denver is 90 degrees which occurred on April 30, 1992.
April is a great month to head over to the Denver Botanic Gardens located at 1007 York Street and watch Spring bloom in the city.
May—95 degrees
The record high temperature for May in Denver is 95 degrees which occurred on May 26, 1942.
A great place to visit in May in Denver for a walk or run or bike ride as the weather turns nice is the High Line Canal Trail that runs for almost 70 miles through Denver and its metro areas.
June—105 degrees

As the leaves change over and Halloween nears in the city, October is a great time to visit the Denver Zoo which celebrates Halloween by offering the Enchanted Hollows Night walking experience each night during the month.
