California is well known for its weather. Here is a list of the 10 hottest weather temperatures for 26 cities located in California. Actually the list has 25 cities and Death Valley.
For each city below you can see the 10 hottest weather temperature days that have been officially recorded. The data for almost all the cities comes from the National Weather Service.
Most of the data for most of the cities dates back to the 1800s but in some cases back to the early 1900s. It can certainly get hot in most of the cities in California as you can see below.
The author apologizes for having to make a list like this with links back to the original articles for each city. He was using Twitter to Tweet out a link to each article but Twitter kept accusing him of being a robot and that just got too tiresome to deal with.
