All-Time Record Hottest and Coldest Weather Temperature Days for Selected Cities in California

California is well known for its weather. Here is a list of the all-time record hottest and coldest weather temperatures for selected cities located in California. Actually the list has 50 cities and Death Valley and Yosemite.

For each city below you can see the all-time record hottest and coldest weather temperature days that have been officially recorded. The data for all the cities comes from the National Weather Service. Also listed are the differences between the record hottest and coldest temperatures for each city compared to the state of California.

Most of the data for most of the cities dates back to the 1800s but in some cases back to the early 1900s. It can certainly get hot in most of the cities in California and as you can see below it can also get cold in some of those cities too.

The author apologizes for having to make a list like this with links back to the original articles for each city. He was using Twitter to Tweet out a link to each article but Twitter kept accusing him of being a robot and that just got too tiresome to deal with.

Hope you like the list and again I apologize for having to present the data this way. If you see any errors or would like to see the data for another California city not already listed please leave a comment. Thanks
